Here’s a static “Page” that can be configured your homepage and it will remain there even after “updating” your blog by adding more posts.

You might want to put in static information here such as:

• Business Hours
• General Description of Services
• Photo of your choosing
• Welcome Message
• Other…

In general, this can be used like an “old-fashioned” homepage. The site, as a whole, will still provide regularly updated information only one click or quick scroll away. You’ll also notice an “About” page that can have more detail about JCFYMCA. I might also recommend a page with sub-pages describing your services. I’ve made a couple as samples.

An alternative would be to use a “sticky” blog post and have that stuck to your homepage then the Blog would be presented on the home page below it.
